Adolfo's Mexican Food - Authentic Mexican Cuisine in San Clemente, CA

This is our favorite place for breakfast in San Clemente. We usually get Huevos a la Mexicana which is served with rice, beans, and tortillas of your choice. The service is friendly (especially Tomas) and they give complimentary chips and salsa. The chips are warm and the salsa is delicious. Pretty sure their hot sauces are made in house, too, and are very good — both the orange (spicy, beware) and green (more mild with good flavor). Oh, and the flan is legit. (Sorry about the photos — I forgot to take pics before eating.) Update: this is the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in San Clemente. We’ve now ordered the Cali burrito a few times and they were very satisfying, made with good ingredients (the bacon was good, just the right amount). It’s exactly what I want from a breakfast burrito. And again - those salsas really make the experience. Both are really delicious.

Taqueria Adolfo's has the best authentic Mexican food I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Not only is it quick and easy to order, but you can do so online, over the phone or in the restaurant. In fact, I discovered them when I delivered their food to someone for DoorDash. Today, I chose to get the Quesa Birria because they are amazing and photograph MUCH easier than Chilaquiles (it's very hard to make Chilaquiles look sexy without a lot of Photoshop), but it should be noted that they have the best Chilaquiles I have been able to find in a restaurant...ever. Oh, and they magically don't get soggy for a really long time!

Great first time experience, quessa birra was amazing plenty of food and big portion consome was tasty and service was friendly.

This place is solid!! The old cooks from a closed down restaurant. Prices are good! Food is delicious. And service, they’re happy you came. Keep a look out for them changing locations here in SC.. Chips & Pico come with your meal

Been by here so many times since they reopened under new management and with new kitchen staff But today was the day I decided to stop in for some Birria de res tacos and was not disappointed. Great flavor but just needed a touch more salt in the braise. Such nice folks from the front to the back. Solid hot salsa as well. They will be opening a new location, and closing this location today. In a week or two they will be open on Delmar Mar street under the name Taqueria Luna in the old sushi/ramen location.

Fresh and delicious! The fajitas were amazing and the bean and cheese burrito was pretty good as well. The salsas were on point, the red(habanero) being a favorite. The staff was very friendly.

This place is under new ownership and is very delicious. I had the breakfast burrito, and it was huge, eggs.potatoes, bacon, cheese, and i added beans and skipped the avocado, which comes regularly without the beans. I tried the Al Pastor taco, and the flavors were just what I wanted, and I would be my go-to, I think. There was a mix-up order, and they asked me if I wanted a California burrito, and the Carne Asada was tender and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a go-to if you hadn't before, very clean. I will definitely be back!! Ps. THEY NOW SERVE ALCOHOL Beer, Mimosas and Wine

Pretty nice place. Got the rolled tacos with guacamole (hold the lettuce). The cheese was melted which is not something we do in San Diego. They were pretty good considering the location. My own criticism is, where the cheese was melted, the tortilla became a little soggy. The ends of the tacos were nice and crisp. Everyone in there was very nice.
